- ‘The MSc programme covers the broad field of data science but at the same time you are free to choose the topics that you’re interested in. Lessons mainly teach you to understand the main concepts and buzzwords – deeper knowlege is gained by self-teaching and homework. Because of the online format, all lessons are recorded (which is great for employed persons). If students are online during the lessons, they can ask questions just like at a regular university. There are no exams but many projects to do. It’s really challenging to keep up with every deadline but also teaches you to do some time management. I enjoyed the freedom to work on own topics and I was also happy about extensive feedback by the lecturers. With respect to grades, projects are not a breeze – but evaluation was transparent and fair all the time.
